Team Biographies

Jon Cooper A civil engineering major from Kalamazoo, MI. Really tall, and has really long hair that he won’t cut. (RECENT DEVELOPMENT: Jon cut his hair.)

Jon has recently accepted an offer to join Professor S.K. Lee in Cambodia for the summer of 2008 to raise funds and awareness for BIU.

Aaron VanProyen Civil engineer from Canton, MI, but always claims he is from Detroit. Doesn’t actually have any street cred, no matter what he says.

Aaron has accepted an offer to work at URS—Grand Rapids full time after graduation.

Mark Volle Also civil engineer, from Colorado Springs. A true mountain man, he actually once killed a bear with a trout. Then ate both.

Mark is waiting to hear back from a local design/contract engineering firm for a job.

Mike Vance Civil engineering major from Saint Clair Shores, MI. His shirt says, “Some days you’re the dog...Some days you’re the hydrant.” Guess which one he is?

Mike is currently working hours at his full time job here in Grand Rapids with Tri-Con Engineering.
