Michigan House Bill 5218
House Bill 5218 was introduced on September 15th by Rep. Kathleen Law. If passed, it would require Power Utilities to purchase electricity from small-scale generators (such as wind turbines and photovoltaic arrays) at rates which would substantially reduce the financial break-even period.
