BUS 359 is being offered as a summer course for Calvin business students.  It is taught primarily as a distance course so you can take the class and receive credit regardless of the actual location of your internship.  All you need is access to the internet for completing your assignments and for communications with Prof. Eames.  Oh, you also need a job!

To take the course, register for BUS 359 for the summer session. Assignments will be due starting in mid-June.  For students who are living and working in West Michigan, there will be an all-day workshop with a cookout held in July on campus. Local interns and their supervisors will also be visited by Professor Eames over the summer. For interns working out of the area, Prof. Eames will “meet” with your supervisor by phone.

Professor Eames will notify registered interns of a meeting that will be held prior to the end of spring semester classes. This informational meeting will give you an overview of the course requirements, copies of the syllabus and copies of the course reading packet.  You will also complete a brief assessment which will be used over the summer.

If you have any questions, call or email Prof. Eames at rhe2@calvin.edu or 526-87987.
